K21 drops new EP featuring Rhymefest, Heems, Faint One & Lakutis

Article by Shane Akumanoel

The brand new reprise EP from Golden Era Records artist K21 has dropped just weeks after his highly anticipated LP Any Given D-Day, aptly titled D-Day: No Tracks Left Behind.

The quick-witted Adelaide MC shows and proves over the 5-track offering that even with an LP in the pocket in 2018 he still has much more in the tank. Self-producing 3 of the 5 songs including the projects closer Carry On, his second track with the Grammy Award-winning Rhymefest. The track that was recorded onsite in Chicago and has a much different vibe from their first collaboration showing a legit chemistry between the two. They trade verses showing love for their hometowns respectively no matter where the tour life takes them.

Heems of Das Racist joins in on the track So Obnoxious with a lighthearted head nodder over Australian based but L.A. frequenting Faint One production. K21 flexes his razor-sharp flow on Something(one) In The Water and Dead Em Then Dance with his signature cheek that will leave heads hitting the rewind button just to catch the lyrics. Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is a collection of off-cuts; it’s more like an aftershock. D-Day isn’t over yet.

Catch K21 on tour around Australia in the coming weeks.
